How can my child become involved with the ASC community?

If your child is 15 or over and is interested in becoming involved in the ASC Community, they are very welcome to get in touch to find out more about becoming a member of our Youth Panel. 

The ASC Youth Panel brings together young people aged 15–25 who stammer. It’s a place to connect and share experiences with others who have similar experiences. The panel also plays a key role in shaping our organisational strategy and advocacy work, ensuring the experiences of those who stammer are heard where it matters most.

The Youth Panel offers the chance to form relationships with other young people who stammer, work together on campaigns and projects, and feed into the activities of the charity. It also looks great on their CV!

Alternatively, it may be that your child is interested in feeding into our research, policy and campaigning activities. These initiatives will change throughout the year and so it is worth keeping an eye on our socials and signing up to our mailing list for regular updates.
