If my child has a stammer, is their future career going to be affected?

Stammering does not need to limit your child's aspirations and opportunities in life. With the right support, many children who stammer go on to achieve their goals.

Indeed, we know of many famous people with a stammer who have many great achievements, including:

• Renowned actors Emily Blunt, Marilyn Monroe, Nicole Kidman, Samuel L. Jackson and Hrithik Roshan. 
   

These famous people show that stammering doesn't need to define you and every child is free to pursue their aspirations.
